Email & Google Classroom

Year 7 – 10 now have their own school email account. Click below to go to the instruction page on how to set up a school email account.

All subjects in Year 7 – 10 are using Google Classroom from 1 June to set home learning work. Click below to go to the instruction page on how to join classes in Google Classroom.

Monday 6 July onwards

From Monday 6 July, all pupils in all subjects will be set one, 45-minute piece of work each week until the end of term, with something to hand in for marking by the Friday of each week. Work will continue to be scheduled for 8am on a Monday morning.

Art, music, drama, RE, IT & PE will also do this but might not ask for work handing in at the end of each week if it is not appropriate to do so. Please follow the instructions given by the individual class teachers within google classrooms.

This approach is more manageable for pupils, particularly as Years 10, 8 and 7 will be in school having their face-to-face learning opportunity over the last two weeks of term, which reduces the amount of time they have to study at home.

If you would like additional extension materials to be set for your son or daughter within google classrooms, please contact school at pastoral@croftonacademy.org.uk and a member of staff will get back to you.
