Mental Health and wellbeing plays a vital role in the work we do at Crofton Academy with all members of our community. We aim to create an environment in which everyone is welcome and everyone is cared for. As well as providing support and direction, we also encourage pupils to care for themselves as well as know where in school they can turn to for help and advice. We also realise how difficult and stressful it can be for parents and carers who are trying to live with young people who are struggling; and finding where to go for support is taxing.
As this page develops we will bring you information about how to access support locally, provide useful links to self-help and support apps, and generally provide reassurance that you are not on your own.
This link below takes you to the page created for our young people, with links to helpful organisations and leaflets where they can learn about the support available and understand their feelings.
