Homework at Crofton

Homework is a vital part of life at Crofton Academy.  The purpose of homework at Crofton Academy is to:

• Embed knowledge that has been taught in school.
• Deepen understanding of different topics through further research.
• Practice skills learnt in lessons.
• Promote independent learning and encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning.
• Provide an opportunity for discussion about work with parents/carers.
