How to get the most out of Parent’s Evening

Crofton Academy strongly recommends that you attend Parents’ Evenings in order for yourself and the school to work in partnership to ensure your child achieves their true potential.  We are now beginning to hold these meetings in person at school.

Whilst most national Covid-19 restrictions have now been lifted, parents and carers, children and staff may be more comfortable wearing a face covering at this time. We will ensure the venues are well ventilated and hand sanitiser is readily available on entry to the Academy and in the areas where meetings will be taking place. We will be spacing out the seating more than our normal practice pre-Covid, some meeting desks will have plastic screens at the request of our staff. In addition, we do ask that where possible younger siblings and extended family members do not attend this evening unless absolutely necessary.  The wellbeing of parents/carers, pupils and school staff is of paramount concern.

If you are unable to attend Parents’ Evening you may wish to contact school ( to make an alternative appointment to discuss your child’s progress either face to face or over the telephone. In any event we would ask that parents/carers log into the School Cloud system to advise us that they are unable to attend if this is the case.
